Configure Push Notifications.

To set up push notifications in your community management panel, navigate to the Notifications tab in the sidebar and follow the instructions provided below.

Option 1: Use APNs Auth Key (.p8)

We recommend creating and uploading an APNs Auth Key for the following reasons:

• No need to regenerate the push certificate every year
• One auth key can be used for all your apps, avoiding the complication of maintaining different certificates

If you don’t have an APNs Auth Key yet, generate a new one through your Apple Developer Account.

When sending push notifications using an APNs Auth Key, you need to provide the following information about your app:

• Auth Key file
• Team ID
• Your app’s bundle ID
• Key ID (a text from the name of your APNs Auth Key file between “AuthKey_” and “.p8”.

For instance, if your APNs Auth Key file is named “AuthKey_Z1T2ABCT12.p8”, your Key ID is Z1T2ABCT12.

Option 2: Use APNs Push Certificate (.p12)

If you prefer this option but don't have the certificate yet, you can generate a new one through your Apple Developer Account.
